Eden Superfoods – Subscription Terms & Conditions

Welcome to the Eden Superfoods Subscription Service (the "Subscription Service"). By choosing our subscription option, you get the convenience of automatic deliveries of our products alongside exclusive discounted pricing.

Please read these terms carefully. By enrolling in a subscription, you agree to be bound by these Subscription Terms & Conditions, which supplement our main Terms of Service (specifically Section 16 regarding Termination) and our Refund Policy.

1. The Minimum Commitment Policy

To offer our premium subscription discounts, we require a minimum commitment of two (2) successful orders before a subscription can be cancelled.

  • Order 1 (The Parent Order): Your initial order placed at checkout with the subscription discount applied.
  • Order 2 (The Child Order): Your first automated recurring delivery, billed and shipped according to your chosen frequency.

⚠️ Cancellation Eligibility: You may cancel your subscription at any time after your second order has been successfully processed, paid for, and billed.

2. How Billing and Deliveries Work

  • Automatic Billing: By subscribing, you authorize Eden Superfoods to automatically charge your saved payment method on a recurring basis according to your selected frequency.
  • Price Protection: Your exclusive subscription discount is locked in for the duration of your active subscription, unless explicitly stated otherwise by us.
  • Failed Payments: If your payment fails on the second order, our e-commerce system will attempt to retry the charge. The minimum 2-order commitment is only considered fulfilled once the second order is successfully paid for.

3. Managing Your Subscription

You retain control over your upcoming deliveries through your Eden Customer Account dashboard, subject to the minimum commitment terms.

Before Completing Your 2-Order Commitment: You cannot cancel the subscription, but you can access your portal to:

  • Update your shipping address or payment details.
  • Swap product variations (e.g., switching between softgels and oils of equal value).

After Completing Your 2-Order Commitment: Once your second order has been successfully processed, you gain full flexibility to:

  • Pause or Skip: Postpone a delivery if you need more time to use your current product supply.
  • Cancel Anytime: Cancel your subscription directly through your customer portal with no further hidden fees or future obligations.

4. Early Cancellation Restrictions & Fees

Our subscription discount is provided under the strict condition that the 2-order minimum is met.

  • System Limitations: The "Cancel Subscription" option will be automatically disabled in your customer portal until Order 2 has been processed.
  • Support Request Exceptions: Customer support agents cannot bypass this system policy to cancel a subscription early. If an early cancellation is requested under extenuating circumstances, it will only be processed if the customer agrees to be charged a retro-active fee equivalent to the retail price difference of the first order (forfeiting the subscription discount).

5. Alignment with Main Terms of Service

These Subscription Terms directly supplement our core Terms of Service:

  • Governing Law: In accordance with Section 18 of our Terms of Service, these subscription rules shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States.
  • Termination: This agreement modifies Section 16 (Termination) of our main Terms of Service specifically for subscription items, establishing that a user's right to terminate recurring Services is deferred until the minimum commitment cycle is complete.
